MGS2: Will you buy?

MGS2 is a must-buy. I think Hideo Kojima (the man who created MGS) has a vision that has been wonderfully realised. I've read so many interviews with him, and he seems to convey that vision so clearly and so purely. He, I think, is a shining light in the whole gaming industry.

When I first played MGS on the PSOne, I didn't like it very much. I was impatient and expected a quick fix instead of an in-dpeth game. I came back to it months later and suddenly had a total appreciation for it. Hearing news of a sequel was enough to make me decide that I should buy it.

Seeing footage and eventually playing the demo (free with Zone of the Enders) confirmed what I already knew.

I have not yet pre-ordered the game - I'll do that closer to the release date. When it hits the shelves of my local GAME store, I shall be walking in to collect my copy.

I understand that at some point a new demo will be made available - this was reported in the UK Official Playstation 2 Magazine, who were confident that it would feature on one of their future cover discs. Let's hope so, eh?

I have one reservation about this game,will it last longer than the woefully short original?No doubt it will be a blinding game but longetivity is important.:wtf:

Well, I played the dome-version. That's supposed to be 1/8th of the whole game, and I completed the demo in 1 hour, and then tried to do it as fast as possible, and got abot 5-15 minutes (long time ago......) :jestera: but.....................Who says it's 1/8th.............. abi abi abi

Hey! How come you get to play the dome version when we all get the demo version? ;)

Anyway, I think MGS2 will be easy to complete but you'll spend ages trying to do everything you can - just like in the demo version. :king:
