Used to go on mIRC everyday a long time ago. But I never understood what people were saying and people kept on using gay scripts, so I stopped.

like nem said it's full of weirdo's and every server you go on is full of them, I use to go on it a while back, a lot of idiots used that gayish 7thSphere mIRC script which had a lot of flooding features and a nuking program made by the developers of it which could kill your connection on IRC at least :wtf: once I got sick of IRC I went onto a chat room called The Palace which had interactive avatars that you could move around the chat rooms, I found that place fun for a while at least but this Moderator guy called Intel locked me in chains for stealing his chair so I couldn't move :rolleyes: looking back at that place it was rather lame though and I think it's still going today, there's just way too many types of chat rooms now

yes I use to go on that occassionaly, almost became a hobba at one stage lol it started to get too boring after a while and having to pay for furniture for your own rooms is a joke :wtf:

Yeah, I use IRC. There can be a lot of strange people on there, just depends on the server and the channel.
The old adage goes something like "On IRC, all the guys are guys, all the girls are guys, and all the little children are FBI agents", which, on places like EFNET and DALNET is true. :)

Why does everyone refer to IRC (Internet Relay Chat) as mIRC??? IRC has been around since the 80s, mIRC is much newer and is merely a (crappy) client for it :rolleyes:.

Saying that, I do use IRC (XChat) and use irc.uplinkcorp.net and irc.freenode.net.
