I'm trying to teach him some destructive spells now to help him a hand :) any ideas? (beside the spell-maps which are avaiilable to download)

Well, 1st-lev spells ( basic Miracles), you can hand 'im a Miracle Seed, get 'im to repeatedly drop it and pick it up, he learns it. (Doesn't work with Increase/Extreme Miracles)

If he's Evil, Flock of Wolves, Megablast (Basic- he won't use Increase/Extreme), Ext. Fireball, Ext. Lightning, and Ext. Storm is a nice Evil crowdpleaser (well, a fair amount of belief).

And about the OnLine thing- Sure, 'll have a go.
But don't invite NE1 else yet- I played once with three other peeps and it crashed all of our systems to buggery! :mad:

Has anyone had a problem with it crashing? Already mine has frozen 4 times and I haven't played it that much. My PC is well over the recommended specs so it's not a lack of anything to do with the system.

Als, pay no attention to the Recommended Specs for this game- Some people have PC's well below the Recommended specs, and it runs better than TOTR PC's!

Ok I got the patch and have run it and it still crashes a fair number of times. :mad: Also I'm on the 2nd land and I have my workshop etc but when I combine 3 scaffolds and put it on the floor it doesn't make civic builings like the villagers are asking for. :( please help someone.

I dunno, mate- I've never had this problem!

One reason is that there is not enough room for the Civic Building you're trying to build. That really annoys me!

Oh, and if anyone's interested, Creature Isle is out today. I'll probably be getting it, but apparently the new Crocodile can't esat the fish out of the water!!!:eek:
And considering in Nature, the Croc is a vicious predator/scavenger, you'd think he'd be a little... stronger. :(

Well, it's a must if you like this sort of game, yes.
But remember, there's apparently a few persistant bugs in it, so be forewarned. I've not experienced anything major, bar some very long loadtimes, but it has to save a LOT, such as the X, Y, and Z positions of EVERY object, what forces are acting on it, what they need, and what they're doing (Villagers) etc.

It is sooooooooo cool, your creature gets its own pet to raise called Tyke! There r more challenges and quests + u dont get any other pestering gods to destroy ur villages ( u still battle other creatures tho :cool: )

i have just started and i think he is just starting to learn the food,water and wood miricale, but that will soon change once i learn for the master(LOL) loop. with ENDER or his good creature a polar bear thing.

my creature has a name its called BEN!!!

Yo L1, I have a similar Creature, named Ender.

Alignment -1 (Totally Evil)
Strength- 100 (or thereabouts. Never less than 80)
Height- 100
Age- 45 (Or thereabouts)

As for Miracles, this Ender wasn't my best one (as I discovered, much to my dismay), so he knows only a few Miracles (IE No Storm or MegaBlast).
Oh, and it was a waste of time teaching your Creature MegaBlast Extreme, for he will NEVER use it. It's in the Creature Programming.

Also, the Crocodile is a very buggy Creature. Mine won't eat. :( And if you press F1 over him, it says he's a Gorilla!:eek:

Still, Nice Creature. Is he completely Autonymous yet? ;)

He does think for himself and does stuff over the village.
He knows all the miracles, its mainly because in my old game I had already taught my ape all of them and other stuff. When I transfered it to the Creature Isles game I swapped it to a Croc. Therefore it had the same knowledge!:D
BTW my croc has used Megablast Xtreme b4, I taught him on a skirmaish map!
I never knew about the Gorilla thingy with F1:confused:

Creature training takes a long time.... I downloaded skirmish maps so they had miracle dispensers everywhere.....therefore teaching creture miracles was a lot easier (u could also create skirmish maps urself)
And I wasn't sure about if it was increase or xtreme mega blast...... cos both of the miracles need drawing of the symbols by the creature......
+ if u want darkinght u could have copies of my old creatures....... all of them r extremely evil...and one of them (a leopard) eats crap......craps it back out......and eats it back in again.....:D

That was a feature of CI, but it proved too difficult. :(

I am now fully equiped for an online game. :) I still have the problem with the game freeze but I just have to take the chance. I left my creature tied to a neutral villages totem pole the other day and he was breakdancing when I came back. :D he was pretty good at it too!

f***ing hell. Stupid game/net connection/ whatever. I thought I would try a game against someone I don't know to see what it is like against other real people. First 2 tries the game crashes in seconds the 3rd try it crahes after about 10mins. At least is made other peoples computers freeze aswell. :upto: On the game when it lasted 10 mins I couldn't even use the chat thing in the top right. I clicked on it, brought up the box, typed the message and pressed return but it didn't send it. :mad: :mad: :mad: When the game freezes I totaly lose control of the PC and the only solution is to restart.

I'm having trouble with the one shot miracle dispensers that you can build with your workshop. I made one, got the villagers to assemble it and it just kind of sat there. I don't know how to choose what miracle I want it to create as it didn't ask and I don't know how or when it starts makin em. :confused: Please tell me how to get it 'up and running. :)

They're used to STORE One-Shot Miracles. It won't Create any.:(
To STORE a miracle, simply cast it ONTO the Dispenser. Very difficult to do with Lightning and Fireball...:wtf:

That sucks. :mad: I wanted some help with making miracles as my tribe can't worship forever, they keep needing food and rest. :D I don't suppose Loop is too bothered about tribal needs but I try to be a good god. :)

I'm now settling into land 3, my core buildongs are made along with a few others, I'm having real difficulty with the following that man down the hillside challenge. :( I have tried about 6 times but I have only got as far as the 1st time he stops to look at the veiw.

Just use Miracle Food in the Worship Site, and when they need rest, use Miracle Heal!;)

Darkinght- Your Villagers will raise the Children desire flag when they don't want anything else! So by all accounts you're doing great!:thumb:

don't worry too much about land 2 darknight, just convert a couple of lethysis villages using lightning and fireballs then use your creature to convert kazars villages when the time comes.;)

And don't follow him! Build up your Food & Wood supplies, attack Lethys' temple, and a permenant Portal will open. Chuck all the Food, Wood, and as many Villagers you want into the Portal, along with some Artifacts. BIG Artifacts.

Then go through yourself.

man! I didn't do any of that stuff, I just worried the portal was going to close if I didn't follow him straight through. I don't think I even have any artifacts. :confused: how do you get one of those? Is it posible to completet land 3 when you enter it empty handed.

well at the moment they don't have homes and it says i have to wait for my technolgy of my land to go up bacause i ran out of those blocks that build you building and i need a work shop or somthing to build them! am i scrud or what?

SD- Yes, possible, but very hard. Just use the Unkillable Man (Sounds a bit like Woody Allen) to take over the villages. Just throw him into the enemy Village, and cast Miracles by him. He has an area of YOUR Influence around him, so you can do stuff around him.
And to make an Artifact, place a Rock near a place where many Villagers go IE the Creche. In the afternoon (Sunset), they'll dance around it and charge it up with Influence. When your Godly Symbol appears over it, it's fully charged. Just lob it into the enemy Villages, or place it near the scaffolding when you place a Wonder, to make the Wonder increase in size.

Darkinght- To get a Workshop, place a size3 Scaffold down. If you can't do this because it shows the regular Houses, you need to make more Houses before the Villagers will let you build a Civic Building, or the location isn't big enough.
On Land 2, just take a jaunt over to Khazar's Village (the Yellow God, your 'Ally'), and take some of his Scaffolds!

I started lobbing the unkillable man about but he keeps trying to run back to his place on the beach. :jestera: Do you have any tips on how to do the challenge where you follow the guy down the spiral hill as it is getting on my nerves.

I didn't have to do any jipping, I just waited until I was given my own workshop and built as much as I could of houses and other buildings. :)

Well, if you really wanna try it, pause the game every so often to keep him in view, but make sure the camera or your hand isn't too close to him.
There are certain objects he'll pass at times, and that'll be like a checkpoint. I don't remember what they are, though...:head:

Taught my creature the heal miracle and then the lightning miracle first. He then spent about ten minutes healing people then frying them with lightning. All while I wasn't really watching - my temple started to curl up pretty quick after the first couple of minutes I think - the people were crying and shouting for protection when I next looked. So I thought, what the hell - and drowned a couple as examples to the rest....:upto: up yours :upto:

On the 3rd island I have taken over 2 extra villages and I'm having trouble with number 3. :( It's really far away and It's got quite a high belief level.

Definitive way to measure height there IS!
Go into a Skirmish game, have your Creature exit his pen, and enter his pen (Or Vice-Versa). Now, press ESC and look at the stats in the ESC menu (NOT the Creature Cave). There should be one somewhere for Creature Growth. The closer to 86% (I think), the taller he is. 86% (Or whatever it turns out to be) is the Maximum Growth you can get.

BTW for Land3, Third Village... Unkillable Man again! What you should do is complete the Silver Scroll challenge with the Tree Puzzle, and you get a Miracle Flock miacle dispensor. I seem to remember one of the villages having that available, so pick up the Miracle Bubble, cancel it (To get the prayer power), chuck the unkillable man to the village and then reel off the Miracle Flock!:thumb:

BTW if you have the time/patience, chuck the Unkillable Man all the way to Lethys' Temple, whack him in the prayer bowl-esque thing, and simply rain fireballs and flaminmg rocks upon the temple!!!:D

Well, on Land 3, around the Beach area, there's a man by a small campfire, who'll dare you to throw him, and say you can't hurt him.
HE'S the Unkillable Man.
He sounds like Woody Allen, and when you do throw him, he'll complain about his Legs, his arms etc being hurt!:thumb:
I spent hours just flinging him around!:D

Oh, you can drown him, sure, but he'll re-appear at his campfire.
And your Creature can eat him, but he'll be... Well let's just say that after, he complains of being smelly. :wtf:

I got the guy, lobbed him to the desired village then zapped with lightening, threw fireballs, healed, gave wood, food and water and still the belief needed is about 800. :mad: I also took him to the temple and zapped that with lightening but the temples health stayed at 100%. :jestera: it was fun killing his worshippers at the worship site though.

There is. There's a Tree Puzzle just above the Unkillable Man. Complete it, and you get a Miracle Flock dispenser. You might have to take a village over, but you definitely need your Influence to cover the spot.

BTW the temple- All damage will pass down to the Villages he owns, so the quickest thing to do is to drop some large rocks at the sides of the temple, and set 'em alight!:D

BTW I never exactly 'rushed' when I played it, but I did complete it in a week (Creature Isle in about three days, 7 hours play total), and my Creature was about half his maximum size.

Something you may be interested in, however, is a Map I edited, so if you teach your Creature to sleep at night (which promotes growth), he'll sleep for ages, hence grow a lot faster!

Every time your creature tries to sleep during the day walk him up and slap him - then tire him out. When night falls send him back to his pen and let him sleep. When morning comes, wake him up again and rub him - hopefully he'll then learn that sleeping during the day is bad and at night is good (that's how I did it anyway).:D

Well, it's not quite like that...

During Creature Isle, you must hatch an Egg. Out pops a Chicken, which you must raise for Eve (the female Creature yours eventually mates with), so she recognises you as a capable parent.
When they mate, you get a smaller Creature (with the mind of the Chicken, oddly), the same species as your Creature.

Oh, Ender's son is about 1/8th max height. And Good, for some reason. He should be Evil.:evil:

When I cane to play it today, it started on the Evil Profile, but the God was Good, and I was at the same place as I left off yesterday!:eek:

Just remember to feed and heal your Creature as soon as he's unfrozen in Land 3, aye? Oh, and get him to pick up large rocks and walk around the Island to build up his strength.

Oh, and feed him a few cows/sheep/horses, to get his fatness back. THEN do the weight-training.;)

Loop got anymore tips for me, i've got hiom carrying rocks round the island most of the day, i don't know if anyone else has had this but my Tiger keeps going round and finding the small trees and planeting them in the same area he has got about 20 odd trees there now!!!!!:D :confused:

Well, if you wanna stop him doing that, as soon as he plants the tree, smack him about 30%.

If he does it again (The Tiger probably will, they're quite stupid) repeat, at 30% again. After a while, he won't do it anymore.

PS: Since Creature Training is rather a vague subject, I can't issue out hints, just in case you don't want your Creature acting like I suggest.

My first village is full of grain but has no wood, my second village has too much wood and is empty of grain...my third is average both, my fourth I had to completely destroy to take over :D ...

As I said earlier, Repetition.

My Creature won't gast it on the Good Leash, so use the Neutral Leash, and show him how to use it 'til 100%.
When you hook him to a town with the Neutral Leash, you should get the message "Your Creature wants to impress someone". Praise him about 10%, and he'll start to impress.

Whenever he uses the Miracle Flock, praise him to about 30-40%. After a few goes of this, he should start to do it automatically.
BUT, don't teach him to ONLY use Miracle Flock! The Villagers will bore of the constant remake of Alfred Hitchcox's film.
Get him to dance, and tell stories too.

Yeah thats what i'm trying to do, but have you got any better ways to do it rather than casing miracle fire balls and putting my creature there???? it takes forever:mad:
