Anyone here build your own PCs? I built my Duron 700@909 w/ 256 ram and a GeForce2 Pro O/Ced to the max. Got me a 40 gig hard drive, only 5200 RPM though, and only ATA 33 :( :( :( 52x CD-ROM. I built that sucker about a year ago for only $750, but I have no money to update. I could use a new processor.

Anyway, if you built your comp, post the stats here or something.

Well, I can build my own PC's, but since the shop-keeper does it for free, I don't :D
it is:
AMD Athlon 900 MhZ
384 Mb memory
GForce 2, 64 Mb MX 200
20 Gigs of space to fill/f*** up
17" monitor..:( to small man........
Standard ultimate Logitech Wheelmouse (whop doesn't......)

well, that's about it, a new one might come in soon.......sure do hope so

You should overclock that athlon. It's really easy, and you can get lots of improvement from it.

NO m8, you can easily overclock it, as long as you get some nice cooler(s) on it. I know somebody who's made holes in his PC-housing to overclock it :) sharp edges everywhere :D
I'm not gonna overclock it because warrantee will be lost, and I'm using that quite a lot (both to have it fixed or to have them be busy :D)
and btw, my PC is good as it is now........
