I'd like to make apoint about the XBOX

Xbox made by the ppl who make Saturn and Dreamcast.
Fairly good consoles at their time but where are they now.

PSX vs Saturn: PSX is still here and games are still being made for it.
Saturn well can you say gone, long gone. (did have killa games)

PS2 vs Dreamcast: PS2 most successful out of the 2, gain tremendous popularity, makes killa games.
Dreamcast also make killa games but can you say gone, long gone.

PS2 vs Xbox vs GameCube: future uncertain but looking from history it looks predicable if you get my drift. (can you say gone, long gone

What i'm trying to say is while the Xbox is technologically better no one may by it straight away coz of the PS2, alot of ppl have a PS2 and Xbox looks very expensive and not every1 is a mamma's boy millionaire.

Also i've seen some of the final product games and i must say they are good but not very good i was expecting more even some PS2 games look the same if not better.

Anywayz i've crapped on enough, what's your say!?

I just like to say I surport all the consoles and plan to get all three XB, PS2, GC and I'm not a Millionaire momma's boy..! :rolleyes:

Secondly you said you've seen finished products of the X-Box which is fair enough but you said some Ps2 games seem better..! Well let's look back at the PS2 when it first came out there was Smuggler's Run, Evergrace, Summoner, Eternal Ring etc, :eek: well to be honest none of these were incredible impresive and for heaven's sake Evergrace was gonna be a PSX game :D

It's not until recently we've started to see games that really use the PS2 power Grand Theft Auto, MGS2, FFX etc..!

Just give the X-box time and it will be as good or better then a PS2 :p only time well tell..! I don't really care that much because like I said I always get all the consoles

The X-Box, GC and PS2 will all have classic games and there own pro's and con's and any one who says different is a stupid ....!

Heres some other History for you

Nintendo's first console - NES, did amazingly good the best at the time.

SOnys first console - PSX, did awesome best at its time

Microsoft first - XBOX, if history is going to repeat itself like you say XBOX is going to be the best.

Satrurn:good then crap after a short periode of time when compared to PSX.

Xbox made by same team who gave us Saturn....

Also about ur say Escaflowne2001 not disagreein but for the specs that Xbox has, even it's crappest games should look good when compared to PS2.

Xbox will might have alot of bugs in it, forcing you to spend more money fixin it with new upgrade things Microsoft might bring out in the near future, just look at Windows!

(Just kidding about all that bugs stuff but it would be funny if I was right huh!?)

Well i havent had a single bug with my xbox its all works perfectly. And the graphics and stuff do seem to show up the ps2. Yes i do have a ps2.

to be honest you should expect companies first consoles to come out on top - they look to make a good impression, they organise everything as close to perfection as they can, then they release it!

if microsoft have done their jobs right, it'll win the console war... if not, it wont! :D

XBOX costs the same as PS2. So what are you takling about it being too expensive, it's no more than the PS2.

I play both all the time (I have XBOX, friends with PS2). I have played similar games on both systems. For example, I play Tekken Tag, one of the first fighting games to come out for PS2, and DOA 3, the first fighting game for XBOX. DOA3 is MUCH better than tekken tag, in every way. Halo is better than bond for PS2. Project gotham and GT3 are pretty much the same thing, but gotham has better graphics.

So I don't know what you're talking about.

Plus microsoft has billions and billions of dollars, its not going to have money problems like sega.
