I think it's actually true that Polyphony Digital made a version of GT3 that was customized with Nissan cars to show off at a nissan trade show, I doubt they actually had any input in the making of an actual production nissan model though.

They were working on GT Concept or something, can't remember what it was called excactly, if that's what you're talking about. I don't think it ever came out though, maybe just in Japan.

bah!my darn little brother,he cant spell. But guys, its true,i can refer you to the latest edition of Road&Track,or Sport Compact Car ,or AutoWeek magazine. There is a new version of the Nissan 350Z called the Nismo S-Tune,and IT IS co-developed by polyphony digital.:)Furthermore, there are various GT side versions,GT Concept,GT concept Geneva,GT Concept T.A.S.,etc.And there are a fair amount of special GT versions with just one car manufacturer, but, neither were ever released statside though. But according to the heralded "Sport Compact Car"magazine, you can get a special nissan version with all of nissan's latest cars for free, after test driving the 350Z.If you dont believe me i can provide links.

Yes, I read this in car and drvier. Nismo worked with Sony to develop performance parts for the Nissan 350Z in the game. Nismo has now produced those parts for the real-life 350Z.
Read it on pg. 45 of the April 2003 edition of Car and Driver.
