I know it's only currently a war in Afghanistan - but with condemnation from Iraq and Iran - will this turn to World War 3?!

I dont think iraq are in a position to scare anyone, look what happened to them last time they started throwing thier weight about, the yanks killed more of us brits than what they did. !!

Yeah, we've been bombing them ever since the Gulf War - which is why they say these things. Not because they pose a threat. But the some people think that US will want to take them out completly because they are considered terrorists!

I dont think its gonna turn into another world war cus the afgans aint got any support from any major millitary country's and the afgans cant start it them self's without any planes when we destroyed most if not all of them in the air strikes last night.:rolleyes:

I think you are all a bit confused here, the main weapon of this lot is the suicide bomber, there is hardly any defence against this weapon, these people are prepared to die for thier cause as demonstarted on the 11th... the battle is not just in afganistan, sleepers could be living in the same street as you and waiting to strike :(

Be aware and keep your eyes open ;)

No, this is a act to stop terroristism... for now, and I THINK it only classified as a war if we against the a hold country. All I know is that they saying It's not a war yet.

I wouldn't go as far as WORLD war because noone else is really involved. Maybe another Gulf War without a shadow of a doubt.

They said on tv today that this war against Bin Laden/terroism could last all through winter and even into next summer!
