Yay, just got the best news of the week my dads friend who was trying 2 fix my computer has said that its totaly buggered and he cant salvage any parts from it so that means im getting a custom PC made 4 me!!!:D
So i need your lots help in picking the best hard and software 4 it!!
Ive been told 2 get an avalon mother board and a G-force2, Wot other good stuff can you lot recommend??:wave:

No such animal, 2ghz processor, 30 gb hard drive.

T1 dual connection is expensive, search on google for some price.but its also ****ing fast!

how come your online if you dont have a computer? :D

oh and go for these specs:

1gb HD
only get a bit of ram youll never need it
a 1X CD
get a floopy drive that only accepts 3.5 inch floppies that are 2 inches :D
dont bother with a power button there usless
a 1inch monitor
a mouse wit 1 button
you might wanna get a keyboard but dont waiste money buing the keys

oOoOo a T1 connection would cost u about $200 a month, my dad works in computer programming company and his network runs on a T3, its so fast!

Im online with my dads computer and im getting a 17inch monitor!!

Put a bit of money into a decent monitor. I use an iiyama vision master pro 410 - 17 inch screen, flat, and the sharpest I've seen anywhere.
A good G-force 3 card would be good for games.

HD? Doesn't really matter as long as it is big enough for your apps.
Do get it properly partitioned, though. Keep data separate from apps.
256 ram (if win 98, use no more than that)
Fastest processor you can afford. Pentium or AMD?
300 watt PSU
Have a chassis fan fitted as well, all these high-end bits will chuck out a lot of heat.

Why not try GeForce 3 Titanium 500?
A bit expensive, but it's worth it. I know, because I own one...:D
