View Full Version : halo named my xbox
in multi-player mode on HALO when it shows what characters are playing, above the picture of the xbox it says "Disco" and on my friends xbox it says "Howard". I assume this is a random name that halo gave my xbox for link play and future online play(crossing fingers).
Can someone clarify this? And is there any way I can change the name?(actually, i like the name Disco but my friend isn't happy with Howard)

I know that you can change the name if you have DOA3, when you beat the thing to get EIN and save it (as EIN like you have to) it will change your xbox's name to EIN so if you save it as something else. Your xbox will have that name. I'm guessing its just a glitch.

When you played Halo, did you create a Charactor for yourself to play as, or did you Choose a default Charactor. I know when I play multiplayer, and someone new starts it gives default name until they create a charactor.
I saw a guy on E-Bay selling some information on how to change the name of your XBox. I didn't bid though, so please don't ask how 2 do it.
Maybe its worth checking out E-Bay and see if he's auctioning it again.
Hope this helps in someway!
