OK, the Yankees now have the best player in baseball on their team. They have Kevin Brown and Gary Sheffield as well now. This is just getting ridiculous. :mad:
They have almost 9 times the payroll of the lowest-paying team, 3 times more than most teams in the middle, and $70 million more than the second highest spending team. :rolleyes: They can also buy 15 nations, according to the CIA's GDP reports.
I become more and more of a Red Sox fan ever day. The 1-2 of Pedro and Schilling is gonna be tough to beat. :)
Any thoughts on Steinbrenner and his limitless wallet? What about revenue sharing and/or a salary cap on baseball?
