an old man was sitting in his house one day when he hears a knock at the door. he answers it. he looks around, only to see a snail on the doorstep. the old man cant be bothered with the snail, so he picks it up and throws it across the road.
ten years later he hears another knock at the door. its the snail again and it says "what was that all about?" ;)

I'm not sure if I understand the punchline.....

Does it have something to do with the man being old? :head:

Alexandros

No, it's to do with the snail being slow.........

Violence

Then why did it ask "what was that all about?"

Alexandros

No, it's to do with the snail being slow.........

How does "What was that all about" translate to "slow"? Where is the bloody joke?

A snail was thrown across the street. It took a long time to get back. Ba-dum ching!

Quiz.....Your an idiot.........The snail was thrown across the road. It took him10 years to get back becaus ehe is so slow. The snail then asked" WHy did you do that?"

Its not that difficult to understand but....it was a bad joke.

I've just been looking at all these older jokes...I've tried not to bring 'em back to the top but I just had to comment on Quizmasters stupidity...sorry man

Yes....repeating the joke, that is a good way of explaining it :sarcastic

There is no punchline! There isn't a pun. There isn't any reference to anything. There isn't anything to get.

There is no joke! Therefore, I don't get it! Sure, it might've been a humourous thing to see, but how can that be funny if somebody says it?

The 'joke' is that the snail is so slow it took him 10 years to get back... it's not funny... it's not even a joke therefor thats why quiz didn't get it...
