Obviously about 4th place in the Premier League.

Who do you want to get it... and who do you think will get it...

I'd like to see Aston Villa get it, just for the sake of a different english team being involved in the Champions League next season for a change :D But I think Newcastle will get it.

Liverpool are 3 points ahead of Newcastle, but Newcastle do have a game in hand which is against Wolves at home so its a good chance for them to be level on points with Liverpool and make up the goal difference (i think they're 3 behind) - then the two teams meet on the last day of the season and I think Newcastle will come out of it better off, basically because Gerard Houllier is a **** manager and will **** it up for Liverpool :D :thumb:

i think pool will get it... the barcodes dont really seem to be brimming with confidence at the mo and theyv got some key injuries..... villa hav a good chance but i dont think theyl nick it..... i think it will finish

4th liverpool
5th newcastle
6th aston villa

which will be a great improvement for villa since last year.......

Woodgate, Bellamy, Jenas and dyer all key players, and all are out for the season most likely.

I hope NUFC do it, They will prob beat liverpool last day and clinch it

I'm sticking with my prediction still, with Newcastle to grab it by beating Southampton, then Liverpool next weekend.

Emile Heskey is Liverpool as a club in a nutshell... promises so much, constantly fails to deliver. The Liverpool of today playing the Champions League would be embarassing for english football, way too boring  and ****

Pool will get it, would like villa to go 5th theyve played a blinder

if newcastle win on wednesday against charlton, (which they wont) liverpool will only need a draw as we have a better goal difference.

Yep I think it will go down to the last match NUFC V Pool.

NUFC will win and boot POOL to where they should be, the bargain bin.

NUFC have spent next to nothing the last 3yrs lol. everyone else spend bloody millions :D

Newcastle have spent almost as much as Liverpool over the last 3 years, actually :D (Sorry, I got bored and decided to look into it).

Here are the average amounts (approx) spent each season over the last 3 years from a selection of 10 clubs (picked at random) :D

Chelsea (http://www.chelseafc.co.uk), £45.4m
Man United (http://www.manutd.com), £42m
Man City (http://www.mcfc.co.uk), £16.2m
Liverpool (http://www.liverpoolfc.tv), £15.3m
Newcastle (http://www.nufc.co.uk), £14.6m
Middlesborough (http://www.mfc.co.uk), £13.5m
Tottenham (http://www.spurs.co.uk), £12.9m
Arsenal (http://www.arsenal.com), £9m
Aston Villa (http://www.avfc.co.uk), £7m
Leeds United (http://www.leedsunited.com), £3.25m

Lord E

Nope, technically Ambrose was last season. This season its been Lee Bowyer on a free, and Bridges in on loan. But the two seasons before that you were big spenders bringing in Bramble, Woodgate, Bellamy, Robert, Jenas and Viana.

KevBaz
05-15-2004, 08:26 PM
one of the worst performances by a ref all season

Andy Villa
05-15-2004, 08:58 PM
yep.. for both sides..... we shudda had a pen and the second disallowed goal definately shudda stood.. no villa player touched the keeper.. it was a utd player........ the first disallowed goal was debatable though............. and no way those 2 united players shudda been sent off...... i expect **** refs these days though and it was crap decisions for both sides today........ but we wer crap today, so cant complain about the result.... might be a blessin in disguise tbh... if wed hav played like that in europe, wed hav been humiliated.....
