does anyone in here really follow the nba? everyone seems to follow the soccer.
I was so pissed that the lakers lost the final cause they are my team but i am kinda relieved that somebody else won it rather then the spurs. I think the magic gotta good deal with dwight howard and jameer nelson. A lot of things are gonna happen this off season with the lakers but hopefully nothin really bad. If anyone finds the nba interesting reply and share your thoughts....

Ya, not to many people here follow anything, but soccer :sarcastic, in my opinion soccer sucks. Anyway ya I thought the Lakers would blow through the Pistion is the Finals, like everyone else, and was wrong. The Pistons defense was what held them up through out the whole thing. Appently next year I herd that all the star players will be leaving, except Gary Patton, but maybe it's just rumors.

nah yeah, your right. incase you didnt know for starters they lost phil jackson possibly the best coach ever. Shaq said he doesnt wana play with the lakers next season and said he wants to play with tmac. The Kings and the Mavs are trying to get him and Dallas have announced that they are willing to sacrifice some players to make some money for a possible shaq trade in the future. I assume karl malone will retire and even if he doesn't he wont be able to carry the lakers on his own. Jerry Buss says he prefers to keep kobe over Shaq which in my opinion is pretty silly because Shaq is the most dominant player in the league and if shaq leaves and in a few months kobe goes to jail....Mr Buss is gonna be stuck with old gary payton and he is no bowl of special K  *applause* Soooo.. it looks to be a hard few years for the lakers until they get it back together and oh yeah...The pistons played great defence, lol

Yes, thanfully the Lakers dominated NBA is over now and all the bandwagon Laker fans can go find a new team.... cough./ They had their 3 years. Time to move on. At best they'll keep Kobe, but they are also stuck with a worthless Payton.

If the Pistons showed us anything is that a team full of very good players can beat a team of 2 superstars. Hopefully that will mark a change in the NBA that has become way too star driven, completly ignoring the fact that it's supposed to be a team game.

And the Magic did have a nice draft, but since T-Mac wants out, yet again they arn't going to be very good.

yeh, i think i will move on to my over favourite teams, miami and cleveland. The magic might become something in a few years cause there stars jameer nelson and dwight howard are way to young and inexperienced. TBH i would of taken emeka okafur as the first pick but oviously they must see something special in him. Everybody thinks tmac is one of the best and he's so good and stuff. Oh yeah he is really talented and gifted but he is way over reated i mean he might average lots of points but how many assists does he average?, i doubt it would be even 4 per game. And another thing, look where his team was last season, a good player should be able to carry his team like MJ. Players like K.G, Duncan and Shaq dont need a good team, they will always make the playoffs by themseleves. A lot of you will disagree but the great bulls only had jordan, scottie pippen was only good cause he had jordan settin him up, on his own he would be nuthin as he has proven. Like Scottie, Tmac needs someone good to work with and i think Yao will provide that (if the trade goes through). Its possible the rockets could be the new lakers  no seriously they could...

Hey I agree, the thing about T-Mac is he doesn't make the players around him better (for whatever reason). However talented T-Mac is, and you could arguee he is the most talented player in the league right now, that fact keeps him from being on teams that are real contenders. That said, the Rockets sure look like real contenders now. T-Mac + Yao is no Shaq + Kobe, but it's not far off, and if they actually like playing with each other...

I think you could say the same of Kobe, we just didn't see it because he had Shaq down low, so we'll see...

yeah, a lot of people compare kobe to jordan cause he made some big shots but he only stood out with shaq. but dont get me wrong he is still my favourite player and he is very talented. If he wants to be compared to jordan, soon we wil see now that he is all alone... hehe check this pic i just found, looks strange...
