hello i am new and i will be on the board alot i just got a ps 2 and i think it's cool .. 1st thing is 1st .. i am going to get action replay card i just want to no can u hack games on it ??? .. like on the ps 1 with the gs u could hack codes .. can u do it with the ar2 ??

apparently the PS2 is harder to hack codes than the PS1, so i think its a question of when the hackers crack it. BTW, Hope to see more of you on the board - Swish

Weird, I'm wondering why You/we can't hack PS2 codes ourselves.......
Well, I came up w/ this:

Then games now store MUCH more information on the disks..the AR can't acces all of it at once (fast)
on the other hand.....why not? Coz there's a much more powerfull processor in it (I suppose)


Then we gotta think of which is the most important (so which it'll be...)
I might email somebody at codejunkies about this........or post on the Codejunkies-Message-Board (no offence :D)

Datel, try and find an answer why not at codejunkies, im sure loads of people are wondering why not. See if there are any plans to bring out a new device that allows us to do so. Im sure they will know at codejunkies.

you can get codes from codejunkies. You can enter in the avaliable codes, but you cannot hack your own codes.

Err...not even close m8.For a start,you need a chipped PS2 to run the AR hacking utils.You would probably also require several modifications to your PC to make it compatible with the hacking tools.:wtf:
