groups usually contain members like Moderators, Admins or Special Members groups n such. they can also have various modifications to the Who's online list like using html tags to change nickname font color or formatting.. very cool when properly used. not sure why GG don't have it.. that way people would see who's the boss on the board and who's not. :)
