Virus? Annoying Proggie?

Sometimes when I close the GG window and disconnect from the Internet, hundreds of GG wondows start to pop up, and I can't stop them unless I reset my PC. :cry:

Sometimes it came up with a box saying "Downloading PageViewer", even though I was offline.

Is this a virus, or what? :wtf:

What browser are you using? Im using the latest MSIE (Microsoft Internet Explorer) and seem to have no problems.

Interesting! I got that once, about 2 weeks ago. Couldn't get off the sodding board! Not a virus though, I'm sure of that.
There's obviously a link somewhere activating IE, but as that's not really my field it is only a guess.........:rolleyes:

I'm using Windows ME, and IE6.
I'm thinking of reformatting my HD soon, so when I find out how to install everything afterwards, I'll probably install Windows 98, since it's said it's the most relaible...

I'd vote for 98se as well. This system almost never crashes, and that sentiment is borne out on a tech forum I'm a member of.
