Board Changes

I have decided to make some changes to the board starting tommorow, and would like to give you advance warning that the board will be closed for a few days until it is complete. I will tell you know that when it opens again there will only be one skin which is the Plasma skin as that's the best one we have. There will also be a number of other changes, mostly coming in the form of new hacks, I will also be adding a ton more arcade games, shoutbox, the works really.

I will try to get the work done ASAP but you can't rush these things so please be patient, it is for the benefit of the board as a whole I am doing this.

PS: Special apologies to the BN players who come here, maybe we can sort out a temp board for you.

i find this skin really hard to see as its all so blue...

it plays havoc on the eyes of colourblind people....

Please at least have the basic VB skin back, I know it's a pain to mod several skins for new hacks, I have a board myself. However I and many other find this skin difficult and need a better contrast between the font colour and the background colour, especially in the post screen

i'm not getting rid just because 3 people dont like it, i said i was changing the board a bit so a new look would be the first thing really, and we can't have 2 because i refuse to do all the hacks twice, takes long enough doing them once. i might be able to leave plasma installed, we will see how it goes when i start upgrading.

i don't mind suggestions, but the thing is i don't get as much time online these days as i used to (blame my girlfriend) and it would simply be impossible to maintain 2 styles, this is the problem i have and since we have not changed the look for a while i think my focus should be on the new style rather than the old.

it's no problem to keep plasma but if i do i will not add or make any kind of alterations to it....

im sorry to the people who like this skin, but i really cant see it much...

im colourblind and it all blends into each other and it hurts my eyes to squint to actually be able to make it out... even then, its very difficult to make out...

i have also added a hack on that board which you can't see called vbookie, it works just like a poll. the admin or whoever sets a bet up and gives the odds, people can then bet on the event and they bet with virtual cash, it looks quite good.
