I have reason that one of the admin or smods settled my man utd v Charlton bet on Sunday 15mins into the game in which case I want to know is this going to be the same every time admins/smods run out of money they just go and cheat? if it is then it kinda makes thing pointless and people had just as well not bother creating events.

Im pretty sure it breaks down like this.
You had the payout time set at the same time as the event time ,the payout time is a deadline in which time you have to manualy pay out the event ,if that deadline is reached without payout which is what happened here it waits a grace period (in this case 15 minutes) and pays out on the favourite.
Im pretty confident no admin or smod touched your vBookie event man.

I'm telling you it don't work like that, the payout time is a time that after you will be able to settle the betting, you then get 8 days to settle if you don't within those 8 days then its cancelled and people are given their cash back, trust me I've read up on this.

OK then ,I dunno.
It is rather new its possible that some one was messing with it and did it be accident ,I dont think its realy a major thing dude.
We only had it a few days there are going to be some **** ups before we get it sorted.

the payout time has to be set manually, and can only be set in intervals of 30 minutes so your claim the bet was settled 15 minutes into the game is probably true, but more likely the poster of the topic forgot to state a specific time to pay out bets and just used the event start time which would mean that bets were paid out as soon as the event started.
simple mistake to make, i did it first time i posted an event, just give people time to get it right.

yea but that time doesn't make it payout, it just makes it so that you are able to payout, if the payout time was the time that bets are paid out automatically then you'd never get chance to chose who won.
do you understand what I'm trying to say here? basically after at 4 which was the close time for bets on the utd game it became possible for me(as event maker) or a admin/smod to chose who won and tell it to payout, now I know 100% that I didn't tell it to payout so that leaves only one of the smods/admin

I know what your saying dude.
Like I said it was probably a mistake ,considering we are still all working out how to use it.
As AW said to me ,its just a bit of fun.
If peeps start taking it to serious its gona cause arguments and nem will probably just get rid of it.

i dont think any cheating has gone on, more likely a misunderstanding of how vbookie works and how to set an event the right way.
