Metal Gear Solid 3: Substance.

Konami announced at E3 that a substance version of MGS3 will be released. As with MGS2 Substance expect it to contain a number of additional features, games, challenges and such. The good news though is that it will also feature an online mode much like Splinter Cells, in which one person plays as Snake and a number of others play as the guards hunting him.

Even better news is the reworking of the god awful camera system, from the stupidly fixed and worthless position to a fully moveable 3D camera. The game however will only be a PS2 exclusive.

Damn, I only just picked up MGS3 on Sunday. Ah well, I'm happy with the modes in it and I don't play online, anyway. I also heard that this was supposedly ment to be called MGS3.5?

i ahve to get back into msg3 ive lost toutch since finishing uni, im up to the start of the sniper dual i heard it was very long, hence why im not all that bothered about going back to it. and time of course :happysad:

You mean the battle with "The End" if you leave it for like two weeks and go back apprantly he dies of old age of something, weird.

There are two easy ways to beat The End. You can snipe him while he is in the wheelchair at that one scene or the easiest way is to set your PS2 clock about a week ahead and the battle is already over. But why do those things? It's so much more entertaining to just duke it out with the old *******.:cool:

You can save before going to battle with him but if you save during the battle and leave the save at that location for awhile, when you load the game again apparently The End will automatically tranquilize you and you will be sent to jail.

no you can't leave it for two weeks, you actually have to set the PS2 clock ahead two weeks manually.

Have you tried leaving it I'm pretty sure it worked aswell because setting it foward of leaving it is pretty much the same thing in the end.

Here the question though, why let your PS2 be on for 2 weeks. Could easily dammage it.

You don't need to when you load your game it'll register it's been saved two weeks ago by the date and time.
