well you know with this game giveaway thing well i know how it works and all and have been a previous winner as you know and well i was reading that it's no only open to UK residents is this true??? if so is it due to the format of the game???

if this is so then i must mention i have a cartridge that allows me to play ntsc games aswell as Pal versions as well. take it up with your fellow mods please?? :( it's no big matter but it would just be nice to know.

The games available as prizes are PAL format only ... wolfie ... :confused: simply because the sponsors are a PAL only games retailer.

The 'rules' of the competition state that it's only open to UK residents at the moment because we're not certain on whether or not the sponsors, Gamer.uk.com, are prepared to ship the prizes out to other PAL format countries.

We will find out and let everyone know as soon as possible :p

AFAIK, quite a high proportion of the boards members are from the UK anyway, it seems to be a minority that would benefit from any change to the current arrangements.

true true but those minority then would be on equal terms with the rest of the members from the uk and it makes it open to more people thus creating more possible winners.
