Do they annoy any of you as much as they annoy me? :mad:
I take the time to set up an internet multiplayer game, and the bastards cheat at the game.
First it was Age Of Empires - Rise Of Rome and The Conquerers. There was NO WAY there were enough resources to do what was done, or to progress so rapidly.
And now Quake Arena. You're chasing someone, guns ablaze when they suddenly teleport - with no teleport available on that arena. Or the sudden leaps high into the air for no aparrent reason other than they are getting shot to bits.
I've even tried combat flight sim - bit boring that one, but the bastards even cheat on that one. I couldn't believe it.
Why do people ruin games like this? I don't mind if deliberate cheats have been enabled, that can be a laugh, but one sided cheating in a serious game, no. I've now stopped playing Age of Empires and Quake against unknown rivals, which is a pity really.
