Resident Evil 4

Yeah I know this has been out for a while but I just got it and man does this game rock. Some of the best console graphics I've ever seen....I mean its on GameCube for cryin' out loud. Just wrapping up disc one on my second play-through....Damn they had to make the Infinite Launcher a million bucks...

Anyway is there any news of RE5? (if its even going to be called that)

no news on RE5 just yet but I think there will be one thats for sure on next gen consoles. RE4 tho might be gettin a PS2 port later this year.

It'll be crap. The graphics card on the PS2 is worse than the GC. Plus the controls will be all weird.

Infinite Launcher, Chicago Typewriter, and Handcannon are all guns made to "cheap up" the game. Don't get them. They ruin it.
But anyway in RE4 I am currently enjoying the missonaries. I like playing as other characters especially as the SWAT team guy with his neckbreaker O_O. I enjoyed RE4 and hope RE5 is somehow on revolution..?

I don't Resident Evil 4 would be that bad on the PS2 while the graphics will be less that's more down to Capcom then the PS2 as it can put out some very good graphics. Of course for people who don't own a GC (and there's alot) getting it on the PS2 is good plus I'll probs pick it up again for the extra scenes like in Code Veronica X.

But If you've already beaten the game (which you have to to be able to buy those weapons) why wouldnt want to have some fun by blowin the crap out of everything?

Yeah but the PS2 just doesnt have that kind of RAM for maybe GT4 equvalent graphics, when you think about the scope of RE4.

I saw some footage on Gamer TV the other day of RES4 on the PS2, looked impressive and textures have had to be turned down just a tuch but not enough to really be noticed.

Either way should be good!
