looks like Nintendo's been left in the cold with these news scans of Resident Evil 5 looks like Resi 5 is heading to the PS3/XB360.

yeah well Resident Evil 4 was meant to be Gamecube exculsive aswell but it ain't. Anyhow I think it's a good move I would think that the Resident Evil series would do better on the PS3/XB360.

I agree with that and with capcom being a jap company and MS looking to improve there sales in Japan... Res 5 and capcom is the way to go:thumb:

Not that I'm aware of seems like they've just ported it over and added some extra scenes to it like they did with Code Veronica X. Apprantly it's Chris Redfield in the scans though it doesn't look that much like him...

Capcom are already giving the XB360 better surport then the original XB so that's very good to see.

Well, Capcom could always release a Rev version. Not too much is known about the Rev so far... perhaps Capcom's waiting for more console details. Or perhaps they are avoiding the Rev for the moment because they don't know much about it, and they don't want to waste time waiting.

Anyways, seeing how poorly (despite being utterly marvelous) Resident Evil 4 has sold on the GameCube... I reckon Capcom's decision to move its flagship series to PS3 / XB360 was understandable. At least the business side of it. Both the PS3 and the XB360 are expected to domain the market, so...

Hmmm, I don't think Capcom HAVE abandoned the next Nintendo system just because no official release has been announced. The PS3 and XBox 360 are considerably closer to release and have actually shown viable working hardware demos of the two systems. It makes sense that announcements should be made for two systems that will no doubt be on the market within the next year.

On the other hand the Revo hasn't even got a final apperance let alone a hardware layout. When a little more detail on actual release dates and what the system can do is finally released from Nintendo I would expect Capcom to announce a Resi 5 for that as well.

True they could but then again would many people care about it by then much like the PS2 version of Resident Evil 4.
