I think ive got a WS script virus on my PC

I think its a virus anyhow:(

what happens is when i turn on my PC evrything goes really slow and some things dont even work its says "you are running low on rescorces" and when i press control, alt, delete theres loads of theseWS scripts coming up does any one know how to get rid of this?? any help would do:(

Head over to http://www.mcafee.com and pick up the trial of their latest anti-virus software and see if that fixes it.

Thanks for the help but the PC was so slow i could'nt try it:(

In the end we called someone to get rid of it for us:(...another £45 down the drain!:mad:

WS Viruses r getting really common nowadays, I get a few emails with WS virus attachments........:( Luckily Hotmail has that auto virus scan thingy:D

Hmmmm, what you could try is, goto run and type msconfig. Then goto Startup tab, and see if there are any refrences to any WS Scripts there, if there are, try unticking them, and restarting your PC. Hope this helps!! ;)
