View Full Version : Members who post un-needed insults
I got a bit angry when I read the un-called for insults posted here.
I got absolutley nothing against new members, infact I am a fairly new member myself, but I have a rather slow connection, and if I take the time to open a message in this section, it would be cool if it isn't just full of insults.
Keep the anger management section angry, but not nasty, violent and insulting. Kids may be readin this.
Nuff said.
Well, BlackHat's a bit of a fool anyway...

Let loose your frustrations in here. WARNING: High risk of being offended!
Disclaimer.
But,it does go a bit far sometimes, especially if it's a newbie posting it who have no right to say anything about any other members.
:upto: Yeah! Its only some of the older members that can call nem a "rabbit loving loafer!!" :D :p

The only way i can see to curb this sorta stuff is to either - issue a warning if the admins feel it goes to far or censor out swearwords etc. :D
I censor any swear words I post anyway. Everybody should do that anyway IMO

yes, but there is an option in the Admin CP to censor these words automatically. :D
I hate being censored. I put down those ****ing letters for a reason.

Yeah, it (dont know whether a boy or girl, so call him/her it) was really lary, insulting, annoying.
How long was it banned for, cos it doesn't seem to have come back?
Some of the things people say are just humour, but sometimes they go too far and it becomes insulting, and just...mean. :wtf:

the longer it stays away the better
I agree with insulting people for a joke as long as it doesn't go too far. And as long as you're only joking.

the problem with censoring swearwords is the fact that this is a anger management section and people may feel that using those type of words may be the only way to get things off there chest. like if i play tennis and hit the 50th ball on the roof i'll go &%$& it's allmost seen as a common part of todays society (except salt lake)... apparantly an officail swore at a little kid for interupting the work and he went to the press demanding an apology. lol though i agree that abusing members for no reason is uncalledfor
