I remember a while back somebody asked if sig images could be restricted in size, now they are, the restrictions are only in size and are 400X150.

well I think it's stupid!

460x80 is a good compromise as it's a little higher than a standard banner (468x60) and yet it's still reasonable on just about any users monitor

bigger than 80px high makes things messy, im my opinion anyway

Just because the limit on hight is 150 doesn't mean you HAVE to max it *sigh*

I have to say 150 in height does look a bit stupid, the limitations came with the plugin and I have not had a chance until now to see what other people though, so i'm open to suggestions on what to change them to. Maybe an increase in width at the expense of height???

Exactly what it says on the tin.

It means your sig will only appear once on your first post, on each page even if you have 2 or more posts. It sounds like it sucks, but it does help loading time for dial up users.

nope it doesn't

reason: if the sigs loaded once its cached and then the cached version is recalled later down the page

what it does help is aviod having to scroll past the same huge crappy sig twice :upto:
