So im on the Riot missions (last missions) and I see that I've completed about 70%, having not done all of the side missions, most notably I cant do Zeros first mission of shooting down those damn toy planes to protect the arials, and a few of the others like taxi mission, BMX missions, tags, oysters, horseshoes etc.

The point is should I realy be bothered going through all the hassle of doing those things just to get 100% or should I just finnish the missions and move on?

Anyone here bother to do 100% on San Andeas?

Never finished a GTA at 100%... what does it give you? Naf all probably apart from bragging rights which no one cares about.

Do the missions and move on mate and if you think the toy planes mission is dificult then the one after that will annoy you more than Loop ever could.

I'm stuck on that aforementioned plane mission that annoys me more than... me.

Funnily enough i completed the storyline a good few months ago and i'm still yet to complete that retched plane side mission from Z. The damn rumbling control doesn't make things any easier.

I swear if I hear "They're not toys! They're just smaller!" one more time I am going to have a mental break down.

Once you find the right order to do the mission in I didn't find it a real problem the aerial one pissed me off a lot more but the worst mission for me was the one you actually had to fly the plane later in the game where you had to stay under the radar or be shot down the planes handle rather badly hopefully it'll be improved in the new one Just Cause had it perfect. :thumb:

If you're talking about the mission I think you're talking about ... then I never finished it either... I got my boyfriend to complete it for me.

And I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to get 100% but my PS2 doesn't like the disk anymore and keeps on freezing, so I've just basically given up.

I've moved onto Liberty City Stories but it's boring me now as well. I can't do the stupid garbage truck mission!!!

I love flying in San Andreas, and the planes handle better as your skill in flying improves, I spent about a day doing the 'Learning to fly' missions, which were rather dificult IMO.

I totaly fluked the mission you speak of on my first attempt, I basicaly 'buton mashed' all the dog fights and by the time I landed the plane it was smoking and I almost landed upside down. I ran to a save point as fast as I could so as not to have to do that mission again.

It didn't help things like trees would sometimes just fade infront of you making it much more annoying took me a while anyhow but got there in the end.

It really is a great game to wander around, i really like the 'importance' in having a vehicle whilst your far away from roads or peope/traffic. It is a rather big place. As a cause of my own bordom (or my disturbing love for the game), Using my timer i timed myself walking/jogging around the entire highway. I tried to do it as close to a square as possible, following the highways. I made sure never did i once hold down the A button to sprint, just continously jogging. 01:24:19

I like to stand on the roofs of cars and see where they take me and I like flying.

I decided to do the last mission and what a mission it was, completed it on my first attempt though.

Blow 100% i'm done with San Andreas

No, I got 70.05% complete.

I used a walkthrough for some of the harder missions.

At the end of the day I cant realy be arsed finding 100 tags and 50 oysters and 30 horshoes etc etc

I could see myself pretty motivated to collect all that junk if there was some what of a reward to come out of it.

;) I never got through GTA III or Vice City. 80 and 70 percent. I am beginning San Andreas today. I do not hold out much hope for 100 % there if really experienced gamers can't come close.:thumb: Off to try!

Saph, how i envy you. I'd love to wipe SA from my mind and have that great experience of playing it all again, thus it all being new to me. A great game. Lucky bitch. ;)

What's the big whoop I managed to get to 90% just by messing around and exploring, mind you I gave up trying to get any further about a year ago now.

:thumb: That is what I prefer to accomplish myself. I think that hey are what make the game addictive to me.
