Time Crisis 2

Whoa! I just played the demo version of Time Crisis 2 (available on the Official Playstation2 Magazine cover disc) - and it's superb! I shall be buying this along with the wonderful-looking G-Con 2 light gun.

I have played the demo a few times with the DUALSHOCK2 controller - and it's surprisingly easy to control!

It's strange to think that Time Crisis 2 is a coin-op coversion and therefore an old game - I'm not into coin-ops (far too easy to spend far too much money without realising it!), so it's nice to have them ported to consoles :D It's also nice to see that Namco have put some effort into it: mini-games and bonus bits abound, it's graphically superior to the coin-op version.....

I have the first Time Crisis (PSOne) and I never really liked it. It was entertaining, sure, but it looked bloody awful! Okay, so it was on the PSOne - I guess it was never going to look great.

Can't wait to get my hands on the full game!

Will it be an i-link up game?

And finally, does anyone know where i can actually buy the i-link cable, really want to play gran turismo 3 with it.

Here I hold the answers to your questions:

- It comes out on the 31st October (OPS2M Data)

- Yes, it supports i-Link - also has a split-screen option (OPS2M Data)

When it comes to 3rd party peripharals I only have one rule:

Never buy anything by Logitech as they are the worst 3rd party manafacturer out there.:(

What you mean? Time Crisis II demo is cool! :D Just a pity my bro's Predator 2 PS1 lightgun don't work on it :(

Urm...Logitech don't make 3rd party peripharals - they make very good PC peripharals, which aren't 3rd party - because no one company makes a PC! The only console peripharal Logitech have made is the excellent GT3 Wheel, and that was officially endorsed by Sony.

I think you may be refering to Logic 3, who makes this iLink cable. :upto:

I know my mate has a Logic 3 controller, its already broken on the analogue. If its endorsed by sony, then im sure it is worthy.


Quick question: How much longer is the magazine in the shops for? I have trouble finding a damn copy.

I don't have a logitech mouse,I have an optical one which is very rare.I looked all over the box and on the mouse for a company who made it and nothing,no name nothing.All it says is 'made in china'.:wtf:

Taiwan is a little island off the east coast of China, where labour is VERY cheap, and child slave labour is common. Things are often made here, because it only costs companies pennies per product, due to how underpaid the workers are

The Logic 3 iLink cable isn't endorsed by Sony. Try finding an official one if you wanna be safe. The only non-Sony-made officially endorsed PS2 products are the Mad Catz (8MB) Memory Card (for PlayStation®2), and the Logitech GT3 Steering Wheel (USB).


The latest Official PlayStation 2 Magazine-UK (#13) with the Time Crisis 2 demo only came on Wednesday, so don't worry, some shops just may not have the stock in yet.

I know all about about the Tawain Labour, btw u wearin any Nike clothes? Feel guilty if you are, same as the tawain situation. Children are pretty much tortured to make the damn clothes. The average female works 18 hours a day, and takes home the equivelent of about £5, bloody pathetic, its how they are so rich. Make each shoe for about £4, then sell it for about £60.

Will anyone bother with Silent Scope 2? The demo (also on the Official PS2 Magazine disc) seems to suggest that it is more-or-less exactly the same as the original (a few tweaks aside)......
