Itching

I really hate itches, especially the kind that doesn't seem to go away for hours, the other night I had an itch that was really pi***** me off for ages when I was trying to get to bed. Lucklily I don't have exma (or however you spell it) but when I go on holiday in the summer I usually get pestered by mosquitoes for about a fortnight. :mad: What exactly is it that makes you itch because I have no idea why it happens.

I agree itches are bloody annoying and it always seems to me that you start to itch at the most annoying of times it's a real pain in the ass.

As for why you itch I think it's something to do with the skin being irritated but i'm not sure.

Do you find itches multiply?
You have a good one on your back, give it a good scratching and suddenly you have 10 all over the place........

The only reason this happens LD, is because you think about the itch so much, it gets to your brain and you itch everywhere. Like when i read this post i just wanted to start itching.

On the subject of itching at the thought, we found head lice in one of our offspring the other day. Big fat juicy buggers they were as well!
Trouble is, your head starts to itch like heck, even though a thorough scandisk of the scalp reveals nothing........:(

I don't have crabs and I never have done, I have had head lice though.
