While it is true, that I don't use torrents, becasue i'm only on Dial UP.

The main reason it didn't help is that it listed 0 search results ....

I take it back, I clicked the link again and it gave results, strange that it didn't the first time.

It may be useful after all.

Although I would prefer to avid torrents.

meh files sizes are to big, thos torrentrs seem to include the game also, I just want a patch (if one exists)

and i found two file of sizes 100MB and 30MB in two RAR compressed formats (parts 1 and 2) at the site below, the files themselves are hosted at rapidshare, so see if this helps in any way.

Unless it's all zipped together, aren't you able to pick and choose which files you want to download out of torrents? You don't have to get the whole package.

Dunno man, I was merely asking because I dunno which software you use. Maybe not all of them allow it so that's why you didn't say you could pick and choose...or maybe you didn't know.

Of course, none of us here actually know anything about torrents, we're all just hypothesizing here.

i use torrents all the time, i just couldn't find a torrent with a patch for your game unless it was in a zipped/rar format already packaged with the full game. So, thats that, and still no solution for your prob.

I do, sort of. I've used them occasionally and yes, I can pick and choose what files to nab.

yup, in fact thats one good thing about large file torrents that have multiple files NOT compressed together. One can choose which files to dload.

BTW, i use uTorrent.

Being on dialup aint really that much of a problem for torrenting, because of it's nature even if you are disconnected your download will just resume. I am quite proficient with bittorrent related stuff so if anybody needs any help I'll be happy to lend a hand. Also may have some invites for some good trackers around somewhere....

It's not so much that it doesnt work as much as I find the file sizes on torrents to be rather larger than I am used to.

Although people tell em you can pull individual files out, I am unable to see how to do that with azureas.

Now if someone were kind enough to download the CSS:S Non-Steam patch and then maybe upload it to some webspace that I could download from at my leisure, that would be cool :)

Fine.........I'll do it. I was gonna offer earlier but you said you had someone working on it for you already so...

Also, you can pick and choose files with utorrent for sure, give it a try for these kinds of things.
