This weekend I got a craving to play Metroid Prime. It's odd when you think about it since I've never actually played the game before, just watched other people play. But this was a biiiig craving so I scoured my house and found everything I needed to for my gamecube except; A wire, a memory card, and the game Metroid Prime itself. So I run down to my local game store and get all thee for $20. Now I'm happily playing an awsome game on a system I havent touched in over a year.

So, do you guys have any success stories like this? Is anyone else considering dusting off an old system?

I work at an old gaming shop, so I get to help people resolve such urges every week. Boy, it feels good.

But how do you manage to seperate the console and its wires?

That must be nice ;)

The wires I suppose could've been moved away to keep things uncluttered. The one that really irks me is the memory car which was in the gamecube, and of which there was no concievable reason to remove. Plus it was the most expensive of the bunch.

Errr...ummm....by which I meant to ask:

Why seperate them?

I suppose that would've made more sense. I thought it was clear enough.

Yea, I figured. So I think the thing was just in such disuse that it was just taking up space and the wires were tangling other wires, sooooo they were moved.
