The Book of MOD is an article on the criteria I look at when deciding who is to modded, demoded, promoted, or demoted. I construct this because maybe some people are feeling aggrieved that they didn't make it last round, maybe current mods were unsure as to why they weren't promoted or were not promoted as much as others, or basically to any member who wants to become a mod and doesn't know how. And so without further adieu, I give you the book of MOD:

A set date
From now on the modding situation will be reviewed in the first week of every year, all changes will only happen then.

Control
I will be the sole final judge on what happens, it is an important part of the forum and I want to be solely responsible, although I will be seeking advice from other high ranking staff members.

Loyalty
This is the trait I give the most importance, your post count does not concern me, your posting style does not concern me, your quirks or prejudices do not concern me. All that I care about is loyalty, constant activity, those of you who spend significant lengths of time away from active posting, or went off and did your own forum, or went to live in Guatemala can expect to not be modded or promoted, or to be not promoted as quickly as others if you are all ready a MOD.

Don't ask
Don't bother asking to be a MOD, the people who don't ask are usually the one's picked, I questions the motivations of people who are hell bent on getting modded, and tend to see them in a negative light.

Don't ass kiss
I don't mod/promote my friends over others, in fact I am quite happy to mod/promote people who have been worthy adversaries. So no amount of stroking my ego is going to get you modded any faster than any one else, but if you wish to tell me how fantastic I am for any other reason, be my guest.

Finaly
Just be an all round decent person, don;t pretend to someone you're not and be honest and informative at all times.
