The ads that used to be at the bottom of each page have been removed, whomever was getting paid for them had nothing to do with us.

At some point I will replace them with a banner type ad which I will use to generate some money to pay for skins and stuff or even if it just given to Jeremy every year.

I plan to make it a completely transparent process with regular screen shots of the account balance.

Believe me, there wont be anything huge or a lot of them, but we need to find a way to help pay our way.

I quite agree - I have my concerns because I've seen many a forum ruined by annoying ads - especially the ones that published by posting bots

Dude, I totally agree, you only have to look at that other place, to see how banner ads can ruin a forum.

And I can make assurances that the same will not happen here.

Yes great idea, huge flashing banner ad's are so much better than small, out-of-the-way text ad's what nobody see's. Oh yeh, the other good thing about banner ad's from some random company is they sometimes contain malware, hope ya'll got some good virus scanners ready.
