As only the more blind of you won't have noticed, we have 6 banner ads being displayed at the bottom of the forum index page and at the bottom of every thread. This is in accordance with the affiliation program that the GG staff members already know about.

In exchange for a reciprocal banner of a similar size and a similar means of display, we will display another sites banner in the affiliates bar.

I have been working to contact websites with just such proposals, at the moment we have nothing solid to speak of.

The banner that most people will notice is the red one for a place called the Gaming Forum Canada, I contacted these people as per the instructions on their affiliates page, and displayed their banner as per their instructions. As of writing this I have sent one initial PM of confirmation to the Admin, with no reply or sign of our banner on their site. I sent another PM 8 hours later also with no reply. I will send a third and final PM 24 hours from from the time of the 2nd PM before removing the banner and giving up. The admin in question has been online quite regularly since the 1st PM was sent.

The other banner is for a gaming list. Every time that the banner is clicked and GG voted for we have the potential to rise higher in the list.
With the regular membership we have right now voting once a day it should put us in the top 10 of that list; research has shown sites at the top of list such as this get significantly more clicks than those that are lower. And so I ask, nay, beseech the regular membership of GG to start getting into the habit of clicking the Extreme Top 100 once a day to help promote your website.

Btw if any one would like to re-write the site description I would appreciate it, I am quite frankly rubbish at things like that, hte only condiion is tha it must be 300 chars or less.

Extreme top100 are already in our top 20 referrers in less than 2 weeks.

They should be in our top10 referrers by the end of the month.

What that means is people aren't just clicking the link and then closing the window, some people are actually browsing the site and having a look around, and that's what we want.
