GG staff will now be paid for their services, in vB Credits of course :)

Admins will receive 1000 credits PWA*
Supermods will Recieve 500 Credits PWA
Moderators will receive 250 Credits PWA
Blog Writers will receive 150 Credits PWA

Wages will be paid straight into staff members checking accounts.

Thank you
-Jason

*PWA is Per Week of Activity, all payments are made after 7 days of forum activity, what this means is if you log in for 7 days straight you get paid after 7 days, but if you dont log in for 2 days, those two days are not counted and you will end up getting your credits after 9 days. (7 days of activity + 2 days of inactivity = 9 days before you get paid)

Activity is deemed to be nothing more than logging in for the day.

Aww, no credits for the peons.

The rich get richer, the poor stay poor. Tis the Universal code! :sarcastic

I do believe that people shoudl be docked in pay for "non attendance" and some overtime should be given out for "eager participation".

I am also in favor of a monthly bonus...A nominal amount, to be voted on by the peons, that have no vested interest in the outcome. Additional money to one that started a great quiz, program, etc.

So far, Scar is hands down kicking ass in the innovation department this month.

Get a job hippy.

Didn't you start a thread where you begged (or, if you prefer, asked) for credits?

Talmon

Yeah I have a full time job, I moderate, and I hustle.

What of it punk?

GIVE ME YOUR CREDITS!

That's how people make money, by posting and creating threads.

^OVERTIME was the part I should have stressed. These are set and are given at a "flat rate" if you will. I am talking about going the extra mile. This would not apply to my as I am neither creative or ambitious. There are others here that are really creative with ideas. A merit "bonus" if you will.

Talmon

Yes it was a bad idea.

We know this.

How about we dock moderators wages or current credits for bad performance? Such as fighting with members in public forums :D

Talmon

Then I will really be needing your credits.

You make it sound like I just need to click a check box in the admin CP click save and away we go.

The truth of it is what you speak of has to be independently coded by a php developer, who then has to test it before releasing it to the public and offering support, I have neither the knowledge nor the inclination to do such a thing.

When things like it are developed you can be sure we will try them out.

The best example is the vBCommerce mod that is in development by the same people who made vBCredits, with this mod almost every aspect of the forum can have a price attached to it, everything from changing your avatar or sig to playing a game in the arcade can cost you credits.

This mod is still in development, but hopefully it will be out before the end of the year.

I get your point. I did not realize the extent to what was involved. Thaks for the detailed explanation.

If we were docking credits for that, I wonder how long it would take Loop's credits to turn into a negative number. I'd give it three days tops.

Mr. Cochran FTW. Loop, you dodged deductions by a technicality. See, the US legal system does have it's up sides.
