Marked as read?

Sometimes when i come on the board all the new posts are lit up as it should be but as soon as i click on a forum they all become instantly marked as read, the first time it happened i thought it was my fault but its just happened to me again :wtf:

The same thing happens to me as well. I believe it may have started around the time the titanium showed up. Maybe sooner.

You might be right there but i'm not 100% if it had happened before then.

Happens to me all the time and has done since I first joined, I think its on a timer, like 10 minutes after you login after a period of inactivity (while you are sleeping) threads become marked as read. It could be that you logged in and then waited a period of tie before making your first post which made it seem like it was the post that did it.

Either way, i don't think there is anything I can do about it.

Well yes there is, you can increase the amount of time members stay logged in without activity like I suggested instead of telling me to check "Remember me" when I log in. :D

I do that. Now today, it seems better. Perhaps it is always tempermental and I just notice it more on certain days.:head:

Nah it's not that mate its happening straight away as soon i come here everything is marked up as new then the first thing i click and it all becomes marked as read I'm talking in a matter of seconds here as in i just logged on clicked on news and then when it took me into the forum everything had been marked as read, its deffo a new thing has only recently started to happen to me, if it helps any its happened today and yesterday both times when clicking the news section.

Yep last few visits since I've avoided clicking news first and it hasn't happened.
