Chain Letters...

Don't you just hate it when you get an e-mail saying that you have to send this to 20 people or you will get bad luck for the rest of your life blah blah.:mad: They are so annoying and are such a waste of time anyway! Does anyone actually believe in these pieces of crap and send the e-mails as instructed? Because if you do, you are very very sad! :wtf: I can't believe that people actually take part in these stupid letters and waste there time with it.

The last one he forwarded me said that if I spam everyone in my address book with the e-mail, get this, Microsoft would pay me $15!

Also, Intel and AOL are merging (?) to form an internet company (??) and to make sure that AOL remains the best internet browser (???) and keeps AOL as the best ISP (????). And they would also pay me for sending this e-mail on to all my friends for some dumb-ass reason I couldn't be bothered to read.

Please. Give me a bit of credit.

I have warned him, one more incident like this, and he goes on my blocked senders list.

I agree with you there LD. I've been getting tonnes of mails from gamers gateway, so I checked my options and they all said recieve no e-mails etc, but for some reason I still get the bluddy things! Can you tell me why plz Pheonix?

When you post, uncheck the box which says "E-mail notification". That might help.

I think there was a problem with the board,I got a load of emails from threads it said I subscribed to which I didn't.In the email there is a link to 'unsubscribe' yourself from all threads,click that and you will not receive anymore.

yes, i also hate these chain letters, i always get them from this one person and i have told them to stop sending me them, but i still get them , i mean they are so pointless, i got one about 2 weeks ago, "if ytou do not forward this to 20 people, your account will be deleted" what a loada crap.

The worst email chain letters are the ones that say "There's a new virus, blah, blah, blah. Email everyone you know to let them know, blah, blah, blah." And the idiots then do just that - they don't see that the whole thing is just an e-chain (or whatever they are called). Those are the ones I keep receiving. :mad:
