My new, expensive CAT trainers (£6) are SQUEAKING!

How am I supposed to be E vil with squeaky shoes?!:wtf:
I reckon water has seeped into them!
Anyone know how I can fix this without buying new trainers? Maybe shoving them in front of the fire for a while?:head:

Edit: "Who banned the word E vil?":****:

:wtf: Try actually buying a proper pair of CAT's, cos at £6 they are so obviously FAKE!! :jestera:

Oh, squeeky shoed one!! LAA

Loop
02-28-2002, 04:37 AM
No no, they're 100% genuine! They were just Old Stock.

Anyway, I think some water got into them. Any tricks to remove the blasted substance?

(I never had this trouble in Hell...)

:upto: Go to Hell !!.....................No, seriously! Go back there, the heat will dry up the water! ;) :thumb:

Alternatively you could try sucking it out..................after all I hear you're quite good at sucking!! (up!):jestera:

At year 9 camp at my school I tried putting my shoes near the fire to dry them and they got a little singed black. :D luckily they were quite old shoes.

No. No it's not.
Nice font though. But those people are merely fools.
I dress more casually, as to blend in with the crowd. it enables me to not only enter unnoticed, but also to exit unnoticed too...:upto:

Ooh, this is interesting, :wtf: a topic about what clothes loop wears.

Loop
03-05-2002, 12:29 AM
Formal Occasions? A simple black suit is fine by me.
Just excuse the Scythe. :upto:

And the obligatory 2-ft hight Tophat, of course.

If it's very important, I'll even wear the Robe. It's always guaranteed a big entrance.
Pure Black, obviously.

Loop had trainers on that cost £6!!!!

Loop

Yes.
My usual ones cost about £10-£15, but since these are genuine Cat trainers, I thought I'd shell out the £6.

What's your point?
Why pay over £50 on some plastic crap which costs less than 10p to make, and looks not only like it was made by the same people as Logie's shorts, but also don't last more than a year?
I can buy simple Black trainers, made of the purest Dead Cow, for £15 which last for up to three years.

Muha! I have not laughed so hard for a long time! :D

The fact is Loop, I get trainers that cost 50 or 60 just to show everyone the fact that the jones' has more money than them :logan:

Is it not true?:wtf:

I've seen some which looked fine, bar the great massive dutty gash down the front, which looks like it's been stiched up by a blind drunkard from (Insert Logan's hometown here)!
And people BOUGHT 'em!

ace1
03-05-2002, 03:51 AM
:upto: The difference is, Loop, that trainers at £50 DO NOT SQUEEK!!..........Unlike your £6 ones!! :jestera:

Loop
03-05-2002, 04:09 AM
They do squeak if yu get water in them, which is what happened to mine.

And Logan, most people look at my face, not my feet. If you have to impress people with your shoes, there's something wrong up above.
And I'm not talking Mental problems. You're not good enough to have any.:wtf:

BTW Who the Hell are the Jones'? And who cares if they have less sense, I mean... more money, than their neighbours'?
Is it any wonder the world is so damn materialistic?

I looked them up in the catalogue, and they're over £40 in there. Personally, I consider buying £40 trainers for only £6 a bargain.:wtf:

:wtf: :upto: That would be so if yours were the genuine article, however at £6 they must be FAKE!!

No-one in their right mind would sell a genuine pair of 'Cat's' worth over £40 for only £6 :jestera:

Isn't it the more expensive footware that squeaks?

And how unnerving would it be to be followed in the dead of night by a tall wierdo with a scythe, the only sound being the ominous squeak, squeak of his shoes as he gains on you, despite your frightened attempts to outpace him?

Losvaize

He bought his shoes for 6 earth pounds, they are cheap, and maybe tackey, but they still squeak, and the expensive one's squeak, well, we may as well wear welly boots to stop water getting in.

1) They SHOULD be expensive. As I said, they were rolling towards me from the back of a van at the time.
Plus, I got water in them, I think.

2) I'd rather surprise them.:upto:

Actually, I've found a temporary solution!
I just don't walk on my heels. I have to tread with my toes. Not that difficult, but your legs start to ache afer a while.
