Well I finally managed to order the Gamecube I'm getting Rogue Leader and Luigi's Mansion and the Black Gamecube and of course a memory card...:D

and then If I've got the money the new Spiderman game on the 3rd May...:p


All for around £264...:D

The X-Box is too much like a PC IMO, that's why I'm getting a Gamecube. Anyone got any good suggestions for which game I should get on launch (I'll be getting SSBM on May 22nd)?

it still sux though too many consoles is gonna put off the market and a console war may destroy it i mean sony has now announced PS3 is in the making and could be out as early as next year i mean what is the world coming 2 man i only bought my ps2 a year and a a half ago and its gonna go out in a year that aint fair this wars costin us too much money and it should stop or lower the ridiculous prices for games i mean 40 quid in america there only 23 quid at the most about $40 its not fair damn sonyt for making up the pound for a dollar technique

Somewhere around £160. At least thats how much amazon.uk are selling theirs for and it's coming out in May but I can't remember the excate date.

The gamecube itself is going to vary alot in price from place to place. Online places seem to be selling it for £160-£165, whilst I've heard that bigger high street retailers will be selling for around £180 (best avoid them). The games will be either £37.99 or £39.99 (source special reserve), pads official £25, memory cards £15. Looks like if you buy the bits separate, you will need in the region of £250 to have a good gamecube gaming setup.

a thing i like about nintendo consoles, is all you need is 4 controllers and you can have a big 4-way game, without the need to spend money for a multi-tap, a good thing, well done to Nintendo, thats an advantage it has over Playstation. :upto:

Just having 2 control ports isn't very good, I'm surprised sony didn't do something about that with the PS2. 4 ports is twice the fun of 2.

theres 4 joypads on an x-box yes but have you thought though sony make 25 for a multitap but x-box make 30 for a dvd controller which you need to play dvds unlike the ps2. so they make that extra money that way but whats more important a multitap or dvd player...
a dvd player of course so microsoft make even more money off oyu as if the console wasent expensive enough
