Today, I casually strolled into WHSmiths and purchased Time Crisis 2 complete with the G-Con 2 light gun - the whole package (in a lovely box!): less than £50!
I've not seen the game sold separately yet (nor have I seen a G-Con 2 on sale on its own). Given that a game on its own generally costs £40 - £45, the Time Crisis 2 boxset is a really good deal!! :D
Top game, too. And there are a number of mini-games included (target practice, clay pigeon shooting, quick-draw etc...), which is nice!
Me like this game!

Well, I really would, but where do you attach the gun.....not on ur belt or something uh?

:D It is a good deal! Well worth it..... Namco are releasing another light gun game in Spring 2002 - Vampire Night - hopefully it will be pretty cool!
I've been playing Time Crisis 2 with two guns today (I already own the original G-Con 45) - double gun mode is not as easy as it sounds! It's very easy to forget to reload! My tip is have a regular controller plugged in as well and press any button with your foot - both guns are then reloaded!
Not tried the two-player mode, yet (no one to play with boohoo!). Apparently if you haven't got a really good widescreen TV, then it's too difficult - everything looks really tiny!

Ronnie,do you know if the G-con2 can be used on the PSone,or can it be used on the PS2 while playing a PSone game such as TC1?

The G-Con 2 is a USB device, so it can't even be connected to a PSOne. Just tried loading up Time Crisis 1 into the PS2 with the G-Con 2 connected, and that doesn't work either.
To summarise:
G-Con 45 works with PSOne and PS2
G-Con 45 works with ALL Time Crisis games
G-Con 2 works ONLY with PS2
G-Con 2 works ONLY with Time Crisis 2
Ho hum.
[Edit: G-Con 2 works ONLY with Time Crisis 2 because it's the only PS2 lightgun game at the moment - there will be others]

I have completed the main game on VERY EASY (a few times) just to open up bonus items. And there's STILL more to be opened up! I played TC2 and nothing else on Saturday evening and all day Sunday..... My arms are hurting!
My favourite part is the sub game CRISIS MISSION - I've done Day One (six missions per Day), and doing badly on Day Two (don't know how many Days there are to open).
CRISIS MISSION is a whole bunch of short missions based around the main game environment. One mission involves shooting a bloke in a four second time limit (only one bullet is available!) whilst avoiding shooting the civilian.... or two seconds and one bullet to hit a bloke on a moving train.......? Very frustrating.

In Game I saw the TC2 game for sale on its own at £39.99 and the GunCon2 for sale on its own for £19.99. The joint package is, as has already been said, £49.99 - great value. However, I managed to get the joint pack for £39.99 - probably my best bargain todate on the PS2.

Nope, game and gun are both sweet. I was just lucky that last Thursday Game opened up a new shop in my home town, and for the first three days were offering discounts on games and peripherals. I went in on Friday at about 5.15pm and picked up their last copy, so I was dead lucky.
