Hey fellow gamers, i have a simple question that has been bugging me for months. Is the gameshark(for the PS1) compatible with the playstation 2 system if you are playing a PS1 game?:confused:

Hi snowboard069,the answer to your question is sadly no.There is a product called 'equalizer extreme' which is a cd/mem card gameshark which you can add PSone codes to.It also features a selection of PS2 codes but you cannot edit or add more codes to the PS2 section.
The product you are seeking can be found Here (http://gear.gameshark.com/platforms/151003.html),and it's quite cheap too.

Nemesis, I heard the GS/AR for PS2 (the real one:D) can be used as a memory-pack too........true?

The advertising blurb for the next version of the Action Replay 2 claims it's also a...... (quote) sophisticated Memory Card Manager designed to give you full control of your PS2 game saves (unquote) - which is suitably vague. I don't know if that's what you mean....
Has anybody actually seen the Action Replay 2 v2 on sale anywhere?
(I don't know about the Gameshark memory thing - probably similar?)
