loading times

i find these pages take very long to load - i am only on dial up but it really is quite a problem for me, which is why i dont come here very often. just loading up one topic can take up to 2 minutes and even then not all the images have loaded. does anyone else have this problem???

No problem for me, I only have a 56k but I also have quite a lot of memory on ma puter so that helps.:)

i dont have that problem either. but then again....working at a computer software company.....we better have fast and smooth running puters.:D

hmm maybe its the browser u are using or u just have an old computer. Although my comp is only 200mhz and it seems to load this page up fine.

no probs here i have a 56k modem with 6.56 GB free on the hard drive:D :D

im on dial up and find that it fine and i love coming on here, it sometimes takes about 10secs but thats the longest for me.

i'm running windows xp and internet explorer 6 and have got 128mb of memory and processor is a 566mhz running at 900 or something like that. maybe its coz avatars are enabled, i dont know. my modem is only 33.6 but other web sites seem to be okay, unless they're really huge. oh well if its just me, i'll keep plodding along. :)

I used to get this problem, and i had to turn off viewing avatars & sig images.
'tis annoying.
I also find that the pages still take long to load and i have broadband. :logan:

and I thought my computer was slow ''two min to laod a page'' I only have 56k modom and mine loads in about 30 sec:wtf:

I have broadband and it can take upto a minute. :wtf:
