howdy, jus wonderin how many missions or woteva u have 2 complete to be able to get to staunton island and the other 1, hope ya can help,

Its more like 20 missions!!!!
By the way on the second island the missions are alot harder!!
I would be playin my gta3 now but my ps2 is bust!!!:(

To get to staunton island u have to beat all of the missions for the mafia guy salvator or something, the last mission is "last request" right now im on the missions were i have to help that crooked cop and he tells me to help a guy kill the cartel guys.

I'm a bit annoyed with GTA3 - I was well into the third island, and for no apparent reason my save file became corrupt. It just wouldn't load at all. So I deleted it. Now I'm starting over.

Sony have my copy its stuckin my old machine at there factory!!:mad:

how do u complete the mission where you have to blow up the boat wit 8-balls i cant do it 8-balls the twat keeps gettin killed wen im coverin him wit a rifle

The tricky its 2 be quick and work you way up the boat from the boarding plank 2 the cabins!!!
Try it like that i got past it the second go like this!!!:D

If you are prepared to cheat a little, then the mission can be completed quite quickly using the rocket launcher. Just be careful and avoid hitting 8-Ball.

This mission took a few attempts. If you don't succeed, load up from the last save and try again. Unless of course, you have an infinite money cheat active.....
