What a con!!!!!

In the past few weeks I have downloaded 3 different file finding programs,Grokster,Morpheous and kazza.To my amazement they were all the fecking same program,I mean what's the point in having 1 program with 3 different names.

I reckon they just do this to lure people to download them thinking they are new programs.:mad:

For example, (The now, possibly-defunct) SwapNut, and LimeWire. They were the same, bar a few superficial changes. Well, a colour change.

I am right royally pissed off about this,I have better things to do than waste my time downloading programs I have already have.

I don't get the programs.
Well, I use one, 'til it doesn't seem to be fast enough, then I move on.

Plus the fact it aint secure against viruses,I downloaded a small set of photohshop filters from morpheous the other day,finished downloading and the norton anti-virus screen came up telling me the file I downloaded was infected.

And no it's not sonic's eye,just a simple eye candy effect.:)

Morpheus is good for getting music videos. It's a pity they haven't done them on music CDs sooner (well, Some of the best we around before CDs...)

But, I prefer eDonkey for the range of files you can get on there. Handy for picking up patches when servers are busy. (Also handy for other hard to get files.......)

I've used eDonkey... i'm not that impressed.

I like Hotline or Direct-Connect the best.

The only reaosn there are so many versions of Kazza is because they sold the source code or something, thats when happens when something goes open source on Windows. :s

The same with Limewire but the source is freely avaible.

Audiogalaxy, defiently!!!

There have only been two bands I couldn't find on AG and when I asked in a group I got files from one of them. If I tried another gorup I bet I'd get stuff from the other band.

Yes audiogalaxy is the best, but....it's loosing a lot of songs lately.Some that were readily available a few months ago have been blocked.:(

You can simply uninstall Ag's spyware by going to the add/remoce programs thingi n the controll panel. Or just disable it from starting at start up.

It's called webhancer consumer companion or something.

Spyware is usuly used to gather marketing info. Lots fo programs have it or those sly check boxes if you don't want "annomoys web statistics reported" or whatever they say. Do a search for adaware. And visit grc.com
