Ali G's X-rated radio rant

I was trying to find a pic of Pauls post about that tall man and I came across this.

"OUTRAGEOUS Ali G faces being banned from appearing live on the BBC after a foul-mouthed rant on Radio 1 yesterday.

Ali G — alias comic Sacha Baron Cohen, 32 — stunned listeners to Sara Cox’s morning show with a string of crude remarks including the phrase mother f****r.

Thousands of kids on half-term were listening in at the time.
First he joked how he had smuggled cannabis from Jamaica by hiding it up his bottom, and then “s**t it out”.

He suggested a lesbian romp between Sara and radio pal Zoe Ball.

And he infuriated disabled campaigners by describing Pop Idol’s stuttering Gareth Gates as “spasticated” — and Will Young as a “batty boy”.

But the comic — in the studio with pop star Shaggy to promote a song — hit an all-time low when he was asked about his lyrics being censored by Radio 1.

Referring to a woman’s privates, he told Sara: “Me ain’t being allowed by the controller of Radio 1 or as he is known ‘Whitey’, to say the Jamaican word pooney in the song.

“How comes people on this station is allowed to say the ‘C’ word and mother f****r but me can’t say pooney. How is that not racialist?”

Sara swiftly cut him off, saying: “I do apologise if you’ve got any children with you.”

She made a second apology after fuming Radio 1 boss Andy Parfitt called the studio to complain.

Even Shaggy — with his head in his hands — said: “I hope my mum isn’t listening.”

Sara ended the interview by asking: “Have I still got a job?” BBC bosses said later they are standing by her. But Ali G looks sure to be barred from live interviews.

A BBC spokesman said: “Steps are being taken to make sure this doesn’t happen again.”

John Beyer, of MediaWatch UK, said: “The BBC must make sure he is never interviewed again.”

On the gag about Gareth, a Stammerers Association spokesman said: “It was mindless.”

A spokeswoman for the spoof rapper said: “Ali G does not apologise.” "

yes we will, woman boy its channel 4 that deal with his programs and stuff, he was only on BBC Radio 1 to promote the new shaggy song that he's on

he'll still be on Channel 4 and E4, and his movie is comin' out soon :p
